It’s called a Quick Response, or QR code for short; a two-dimensional matrix that holds thousands upon thousands alphanumeric codes. QR codes are used to send information to Android, smartphones with cameras and iPhones. QR codes were developed in 1994 in Japan and it has taken nearly ten years for the United States and Europe to catch on. FLORIDA CITRUS BOWL STADIUM The City of Orlando recently completed $10 million in the first phase of planned enhancements at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. UK-based, Canadian Comedian Andrew Mondia

London-based actor and comedian, Andrew Mondia, has such a passion for his craft that nothing is standing in his way. Andrew makes the art of comedy look easy because if comes naturally to him. He believes that everyone has their own sense of humour, they just need to tap into it and use it. That’s how he is perfecting his style.

But comedy and acting are not all Andrew excels at. He is also an incredible motivational speaker. His main focus is helping people overcome negativity and letting go of the things that bring stress into the lives of people who are held back because of that negativity. Andrew believes that with a little bit of will-power and concentrating on removing the negatives that surround a person, anyone can be positive, optimistic and live the life they are meant to live and want to live.

Acting and bringing laughter into people’s lives is all Andrew has ever wanted to do. He started at a young age and has continued to hone his passion throughout his life. In recent years, Andrew has been thinking out-of-the-box with his comedy routine by, not so much making light of subjects such as being gay, violence, politics, bullying, and suicide, but more of easing the sting that these subjects bring to society.

By talking openly about controversial subjects, Andrew believes there can be more acceptance and awareness toward things no one wants to acknowledge. These comedy routines are bringing quite a bit of fame and recognition to Andrew’s career. Why does Andrew take on such contentious subject matter? Because they are part of who he is. They are subjects he takes from his own life.

Not too long ago, Andrew starred in a short video called “Stolen Auto Recovery Volunteers”, where he plays Bob Lemon in ICBC’s Training Video about a couple of bumbling guys who volunteer to recover stolen vehicles. Their lack of experience gets them caught by the car thieves and “Bob’s” cohort, “Franco”, ends up getting beaten down by the thieves. Andrew’s comedic and thespian brilliance stands out above most because of the undeniable passion that has followed him and grown in him his entire life. Yes, Andrew has fears of blanking out or not being liked by his audiences, but he says fear is a great motivator. He just takes a deep breath and faces his fears. The more often a person faces their fears, the less frightening those fears become.

Andrew would love to be in Disney films, as well; doing voices in some of their animated feature films. He would also like his career to take him to Broadway or London’s West End, where he can entertain audiences worldwide and make them laugh.
